CoinDCX’s Chief HR Officer Mudita Chauhan and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Sridhar G have stepped down from their roles, in a new set of top level churn at the crypto exchange.

This comes three months after, Chief technology officer (CTO) Vivek Gupta and legal head Tushar Tarun had quit even as the exchange looks to expand globally in the coming months.

In a post on X, Sumit Gupta, Co-founder and CEO, CoinDCX said, “After five impactful years at CoinDCX, Mudita Chauhan, CHRO, has decided to move on to pursue new opportunities. Sridhar G, CISO, is also moving on after three years with us, leaving behind a strong legacy through his contributions.”

“Neeraj Khandelwal (Co-founder) and I have truly enjoyed working with both of them. They have been instrumental in shaping our journey not just by building systems and processes, but also by fostering a culture of resilience and trust. We remain deeply grateful and wish them the very best in their next professional endeavors,” he added.

Gupta shared that the firm is in the process of closing the next leaders for these roles and are expecting a smooth transition.

In July, CoinDCX had faced a cyberattack in one of its internal operational accounts used for liquidity provisioning, draining about $44.2 million.

Gupta had then said no customer funds were impacted and their main assets remained safe in a secure cold wallet infrastructure. All trading activity and INR withdrawals continued to be fully operational.

On the business front, CoinDCX launched virtual digital asset trading platform BitOasis in Bahrain, as a part of its larger Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region expansion strategy, eyeing 30 percent of its revenue from there by 2026. CoinDCX, which has over 15 million users, acquired BitOasis in 2024.
