Sell Equitas Holdings, Ajanta Pharma; buy Ambuja Cements 270 Call: Mitessh Thakkar

Mitessh Thakkar of miteshthacker.com is of the view that one can sell Equitas Holdings and Ajanta Pharma and can buy Ambuja Cements 270 Call.

Mitessh Thakkar of miteshthacker.com told CNBC-TV18, "We have been negative on Equitas Holdings last week as well and even now it presents a fresh selling opportunity. So keep a stop at about Rs 158.50-159 and Rs 144 is occurring over here. If Hindalco Industries breaks Rs 182-180 kind of support zone, that could possibly decline to levels of about Rs 165. So I would buy a Put option right now, if it breaks Rs 180, take a future short break."

"In Ambuja Cements, I would prefer the options route. So buying 270 Call or maybe even 260 Call can be a good idea. We have had a good gap up. The trend will extend for the next few days to come. The stock can hit Rs 280-285. So buying 270 Call can be a good idea, even 260 Call will be equally rewarding," he said.

"I had a sell on Ajanta Pharma. This declined a bit, if it gives an intraday bounce back around Rs 1,620, I would still suggest a sell with a stop loss at Rs 1,637 for target of around Rs 1,550. Havells India is a buy with a stop loss at Rs 485 and look for Rs 515 as the target."
