At the ongoing TN Rising Investors Conclave, Sancraft Industries Private Limited announced a major expansion plan in Tamil Nadu with a proposed investment of Rs 400 crore and the creation of 3,500 new jobs over the next five years.
The investment MoU with Guidance Tamil Nadu was signed at the TN Rising Coimbatore chapter, in which the state is positioning itself as a future-ready destination for advanced electronics and electronics components, among other industries.
The home-grown electronics component manufacturer, headquartered in Oragadam, Kanchipuram, will scale up its manufacturing footprint and strengthen its technology and design capabilities to serve India’s fast-growing mobile and telecom electronics sectors.
The expansion plan includes adding significant new capacities in enclosures and electromechanical parts manufacturing, increased R&D efforts in new technologies and innovation, and the creation of additional production floorspace in Tamil Nadu to meet future customer demand.
The company is already a trusted partner for enclosures, electro-mechanical components and critical sub-assemblies used by leading OEMs.
With this expansion, Sancraft aims to evolve into a one-stop solution provider, offering end-to-end support to its customers while contributing to Tamil Nadu’s leadership in electronics manufacturing and its growing focus on electronics components.
“Tamil Nadu has built one of India’s strongest electronics ecosystems with deep supply chains, skilled talent and an industry-friendly environment. Our expansion plan is a commitment to this growth story. By adding new capacities in enclosures and electromechanical parts, investing in R&D for new technologies, and expanding our production floor space in the state, we are preparing Sancraft for the next decade of growth. This is our way of partnering in Tamil Nadu’s electronics manufacturing ambition,” said Amit Gupta, Managing Director, Sancraft Industries.
