Mumbai-based luxury real estate developer Tribeca Developers has announced the launch of the Trump World Center in Pune's upmarket Koregaon Park neighbourhood, with the property being India's first Trump-branded office space. The luxury offices, which have a development potential of 1.6 million square feet, will be partly strata-sold, while the rest will be leased to various tenants, according to a release.
Tribeca is the exclusive licensor of the Trump brand in India, licensed from the Donald Trump family-owned The Trump Organisation. Earlier, Tribeca had licensed the brand to developers such as Lodha and Panchshil for residential Trump Tower projects in Mumbai and Pune respectively. Since then, Tribeca decided to participate in Trump Tower projects as a developer, largely in collaboration with other realty firms and land partners, having launched projects in Gurugram and Kolkata.
"Trump World Center Pune is the culmination of years of vision and refinement, blending the Trump brand’s unmatched prestige with Pune’s ascent as a global business nucleus. After nearly a decade of shaping India into the Trump brand’s largest market outside the U.S., I’m proud to unveil this first-of-its-kind office project and thrilled to be collaborating with the Trump Organization and Kundan Spaces on it," said Kalpesh Mehta, founder of Tribeca Developers.
For the Pune project, Tribeca has partnered with Pune-based developer Kundan Spaces, with the project being developed on a 4.3-acre land parcel. The developers will build two towers of 27 storeys each, with Tribeca expecting a revenue potential of around Rs 2,500 crore from the strata-sold component.
“After our successful collaboration on several iconic residential projects, we are proud to launch our first commercial development in India. This milestone is a testament to the strength of our relationship with Kalpesh Mehta, the Tribeca team, and now Kundan Spaces. Trump World Center Pune will set a new standard of sophistication and excellence, reflecting the same commitment to quality that defines Trump properties across the globe," said Eric Trump, executive vice president of The Trump Organisation.
The developers added that the property will include a high street retail component, as well as the first Trump Club in India, meant for business leaders to network, which will have meeting rooms and dining facilities.
