Film actor Salman Khan has sold an apartment in Bandra (West) for Rs 5.35 crore at the Shiv Asthan Heights development, located near the upscale Pali Hill neighbourhood, according to property registration documents accessed by Square Yards.

The 1,318 square feet-sized flat was purchased by two Noida-based buyers, the documents showed.

The buyers paid a stamp duty of Rs 3.21 lakh, according to the registration documents. The sale was registered on July 15. Salman Khan is known to be a resident of the area, living with part of his extended family at the Galaxy Apartments on the Bandra Bandstand. Many key figures in the Hindi film industry also reside in the same neighbourhood.

Moneycontrol has reached out to Salman Khan's team for confirmation and comment on the matter, and the story will be updated if a response is received.

Shiv Asthan Heights was a redevelopment project, built by the late politician and real estate developer Ziauddin Siddique, better known as Baba Siddique, who represented the Bandra (West) seat in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly for the Indian National Congress. Siddique was assassinated in front of his son Zeeshan's office in October 2024, by which time he had switched to the Nationalist Congress Party's Ajit Pawar faction.

Siddique, who was known to be close to multiple film industry figures, including Salman Khan, lost his seat in the 2014 assembly elections in Maharashtra to Ashish Shelar of the Bharatiya Janata Party. His son Zeeshan served for one term in the adjacent Bandra (East) seat, losing the 2024 elections to Varun Sardesai of the Shiv Sena's Uddhav Thackeray faction.

The elder Siddique had developed multiple key residential and commercial projects in the Bandra-Khar-Santacruz belt, with the Shiv Asthan Heights receiving its occupation certificate from the civic body in January 2017.

According to a report from Care Ratings, Siddique, through a firm named Zears Developers, invested around Rs 86 crore into the project.
