Real estate developer Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd has acquired a 13.46-acre land parcel in Pune to develop a large-scale residential project with an estimated development potential of Rs 3,500 crore, the company said in a regulatory filing late Friday.
The land, located in the premier neighbourhood of Nande-Mahalunge, is part of the company’s strategy to expand its footprint in key urban markets. Mahindra Lifespace, a part of the Mahindra Group, did not disclose the name of the seller or the deal value.

Real estate developer Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd has also announced that it will redevelop four residential housing societies in Malad (West), Mumbai, with the project expected to generate Rs 800 crore in revenue from the sale of free area.
In a regulatory filing on Friday, the company said it has been selected as the preferred partner for the redevelopment work.
“Spread across about 1.65 acres, the project offers a development potential of Rs 800 crore,” Mahindra Lifespace said in its statement.
The company’s total development footprint currently spans 49.26 million sq ft of completed, ongoing, and forthcoming residential projects across seven Indian cities. Additionally, Mahindra Lifespace has over 5,000 acres of ongoing and upcoming projects under development and management at its integrated developments and industrial clusters across four locations in India.
