Quess Corp has appointed Lohit Bhatia as chief executive officer effective January 1, 2026, as part of a leadership realignment at the staffing firm. Bhatia, currently President for India and Global Operations, will also take on the role of Key Managerial Personnel.
The company said the move creates clearer separation between operational execution and strategic oversight, the company said in a release. As CEO, Bhatia will run day to day operations, while Executive Director Guruprasad Srinivasan will continue to lead overall strategy and long term priorities for the organisation.
Bhatia, who joined Quess in 2011 as GM for Sales, has overseen the expansion of the staffing business from 13,000 to over 480,000 associates.
He has also led the company’s international expansion across the Middle East, Singapore and Sri Lanka, which now contribute nearly 20 percent of Quess’ EBITDA.
His work with professional staffing teams has included margin improvement initiatives and building a Rs 100 crore EBITDA run rate business in that unit.
Srinivasan said the transition aligns the company’s leadership structure with its scale and the requirements of its next phase of growth. Bhatia said his priorities include strengthening client delivery, driving digitisation, improving margins and advancing the company’s goal of reaching a one million member workforce.
Quess, founded in 2007, employs about 4.83 lakh people across eight countries and serves more than 3,300 clients.
