What is CPP?
CPP, or Card Protection Plan, is a comprehensive safety service that protects customers in case of card loss or theft. Apart from emergency support, it also safeguards against frauds such as phishing, tele-phishing, and PIN-based frauds. CPP India is a subsidiary of the UK-based CPP Group.
Why register your DL & passport?
Customers are advised to register their driving licence and passport numbers under the CPP service. In case of an emergency where these documents are not handy, customers can simply call the CPP helpline to retrieve the details.
Registration process
Once a customer pays the fee, CPP dispatches a welcome kit with a membership number. The registration form in the kit needs to be filled and returned, or customers can directly call the CPP helpline to register their cards and documents.
