The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on July 2 said nine non-banking finance companies (NBFC) surrendered their licences to the central bank.
These NBFCs are Vigfin Holdings Pvt Ltd, Strip Commodeal Pvt Ltd, Allium Finance Pvt Ltd, Eternite Finvest Pvt Ltd, Fino Finance Pvt Ltd, Allegro Holdings Pvt Ltd, Temple Trees Impex and Investment Pvt Ltd, Hem Financial Services Pvt Ltd, and Ujjivan Financial Services Ltd, RBI said in a release.
Vigfin Holdings Pvt Ltd, Strip Commodeal Pvt Ltd, Allium Finance Pvt Ltd, Eternite Finvest Pvt Ltd, and Fino Finance Pvt Ltd, have surrendered their licence due to exit from Non-Banking Financial Institution (NBFI) business, release said.
Further, Allegro Holdings Pvt Ltd, Temple Trees Impex and Investment Pvt Ltd, and Hem Financial Services Pvt Ltd, have surrendered their licence as these entities meet the criteria prescribed for unregistered Core Investment Company (CIC) that do not require registration, RBI said.
Ujjivan Financial Services Ltd surrendered licence as this entity ceased to be a legal entity due to amalgamation/ merger/ dissolution/ voluntary strike-off, etc, release added.
