IDFC FIRST Bank presents Network18 Reforms Reloaded, kicks off today in New Delhi, is set to bring together India’s most influential voices to chart the nation’s next big economic leap. Policymakers, CEOs, economists, technologists, defence strategists, and investors will converge to examine the future of GST reforms and map the road ahead for India’s tax and growth agenda.

At the heart of Reforms Reloaded is a vision of a stronger centre-state cooperation on taxation, a sharper focus on growth through consumption and investment, and a deeper push for India’s self-reliance in defence and frontier technology. Leading the government’s perspective will be Gajendra Shekhawat, Minister of Tourism, GOI joined by Shri Pralhad Joshi, Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, GoI, V. Anantha Nageswaran, Chief Economic Advisor, GoI, and Arunish Chawla, Secretary, DIPAM, who will bring clarity on fiscal preparedness, privatisation, and structural reforms.

From the industry side, leaders such as Rajiv Memani, President, CII & Chairman & CEO, EY India; Mohit Malhotra, CEO, Dabur and Santosh Iyer, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India will reflect on how reforms can accelerate consumption, reshape trade, and energise market confidence. Adding the investor lens will be Utpal Sheth, Founder & Mentor, TRUST Group; Atul Suri, CEO, Marathon Trends; and Nilesh Shah, MD, Kotak Mahindra Asset Management, who will spotlight what domestic and global capital expects from the next wave of reforms.

The dialogue will also stretch beyond India’s borders, with global voices like Ambassador Anil Sooklal, South African High Commissioner to India, Kanwal Sibal, Former Foreign Secretary and Former Ambassador to US and Benedikt Höskuldsson, Ambassador of Iceland to India, offering insights on shifting geopolitics and trade. On the innovation front, technologists such as Shashi Shekhar Vempati, Co-Founder, DeepTech for Bharat, and Vivek Mishra, Co-Founder & CEO, Raphe mPhibr, will highlight how deep tech and AI can strengthen sovereign capability and fuel self-reliance.

Defence manufacturing and the Aatmanirbhar Bharat mission will be spotlighted through Rajesh Kumar Singh, Defence Secretary of India, while Amitabh Kant, Ex-G20 Sherpa & Former CEO, NITI Aayog, will share his perspective on what lies ahead for India’s reform story.
