A ‘melting pot’ of a trade!

A ‘melting pot’ of a trade!

A deal, said to be brewing at this tony joint frequented by the creme de la creme and star-struck guests, seems to be off the menu, for now at least. A little birdie tells us that the investors are not in a tearing hurry to unlock value, and the idea is to hit the market later when the numbers that matter are better. Until then, let’s focus on the bubbly, caviar and gnocchi’s folks!

Movers and Shakers

Buzz is that a senior executive at this private equity major, which sealed a glittery deal, is on his way out. The dealmaker, who has joined others in the past to bet on the hospitality space, is rumoured to be joining a firm that shares its name with a famous historian known for chronicling the French Revolution. The firm has entered new segments recently and is now keen to bolster its presence in the financial services segment.

Any guesses?
