Gujarat Alkalies and Chemicals Limited (GACL) announced the appointment of Shri Vrajesh Parikh as Executive Director (Technical), effective September 4, 2025.
The decision was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, as part of the company's intimation of appointment of Senior Management Personnel.
Shri Vrajesh Parikh, a Chemical Engineer from DDIT, Nadiad, Gujarat University, also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from Bhartiya Vidya Bhavans, Vadodara. He brings over 31 years of experience in the chemicals industry, specializing in both specialty and commodity chemicals.
His expertise includes process engineering, project execution, safety and quality regulations, strategic planning, crisis management, technology transfer, and supplier management. He has held roles such as Unit Head, focusing on profitability, safety, and operational excellence.
Prior to joining GACL, Shri Parikh worked with Grasim Industries Ltd as Joint President in Central Technical Cell. He has also worked with renowned organizations including Grasim Industries Ltd, Atul Ltd, Gulbrandsen Pvt Ltd, and Transpek Ltd.
