Indian benchmark indices bounced back sharply on March 5 with Nifty finishing above 22,300, breaking 10-day losing streak amid positive Asian, European markets and buying across the sectors.
At close, the Sensex was up 740.30 points or 1.01 percent at 73,730.23, and the Nifty was up 254.65 points or 1.15 percent at 22,337.30.

With today's gain, Sensex also broke a three-day losing streak.
All the sectoral indices ended in the green with PSU Bank, media, telecom, metal and power indices rose 3 percent each.
Broader indices continued the outperformance with BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices gainsing 2.5 percent each.
Adani Ports, Power Grid, M&M, Tata Steel, Adani Enterprises were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bajaj Finance, HDFC Bank, Grasim Industries, IndusInd Bank and Shriram Finance.
