Smallcap World Fund sold half a percent equity stake in Delhivery, the third party logistics service provider, via open market transactions on October 17.
Despite stake sale, Delhivery shares rallied 4.15 percent to Rs 465.35 with above-average volumes. Technically, the stock surged above short and medium term moving averages and the midline of Bollinger bands.
Smallcap World Fund Inc offloaded 39.17 lakh shares (equivalent to 0.52 percent stake) at Rs 448.35 per share for Rs 175.66 crore.
Meanwhile, Canara HSBC Life Insurance Company shares saw a good market debut, rising 5.11 percent to Rs 111.42 despite exiting by Oxbow Master Fund.
Oxbow Master Fund, which is backed by Hong Kong based investment advisor Oxbow Capital Management (HK), offloaded its entire 1,64,44,730 equity shares (1.73 percent stake) at Rs 110.15 per share for Rs 181.1 crore.
MTAR Technologies, which manufactures components and equipment for the defense, aerospace, nuclear and clean energy segments, was also in action, rising 3.09 percent to Rs 2,288.9. BNP Paribas Financial Markets acquired 3.53 lakh shares at Rs 2,288.52 per share for Rs 80.8 crore.
LTIMindtree bought 1 crore units in IRB Infrastructure Developers-sponsored infrastructure investment trust IRB InvIT Fund at Rs 60.93 per unit for Rs 60.93 crore. However, IIFL Finance sold 1.17 crore units at Rs 60.43 per unit for Rs 70.5 crore, and Kotak Mahindra Bank offloaded 1.28 crore units at Rs 62.31 per unit for Rs 79.86 crore.
