Hindustan Unilever share price surged up to 2 percent after the company reported that its net profit fell 3.7 percent year-on-year to Rs 2,464 crore in the March quarter of 2025.
At the time of publishing, share of the company was up 1.86 percent to quote at Rs 2,469 per share on the NSE.
HUL's consolidated revenue for the fiscal fourth quarter rose 3.5 percent on-year to Rs 15,979 crore. The Home Care segment contributed Rs 5,815 crore to the consolidated revenue.
The FMCG major declared a final dividend of Rs 24 per equity share of face value Re 1 each. With this, HUL's total dividend payout for the financial year 2024-25 stands at Rs 53 per share, including an interim dividend of Rs 19, and a special dividend of Rs 10.
Meanwhile, shares of Axis Bank were also trading in green in the early trade. The lender is set to announce the quarterly results today. The share price of the company was up 0.44 percent at Rs 1,212.2 apiece.
Nestle and Tech Mahindra shares also advanced up to 3 percent ahead of the results. At the time of publishing, the stock of Nestle India, quoted at Rs 2,501.3 per share on the NSE, 2.79 percent.
Tech Mahindra share price surged 0.83 percent to Rs 1,451.5 per share on the NSE.
