Market witnessed rangebound activity with Nifty hovering around 25,100 level throughout the session on September 15, to end with marginal losses below 25,100.
At close, the Sensex was down 118.96 points or 0.15 percent at 81,785.74, and the Nifty was down 44.80 points or 0.18 percent at 25,069.20. BSE Midcap index up 0.4 percent and smallcap index up 0.7 percent.

Asian Equities (Mixed)

US Equities (Up)
The three major U.S. stock indexes closed higher on Monday with the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq notching intraday record high closes, as investors await the Federal Reserve's crucial policy meeting later this week.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 49.23 points, or 0.11%, to 45,883.45, the S&P 500 gained 30.99 points, or 0.47%, to 6,615.28 and the Nasdaq Composite gained 207.65 points, or 0.94%, to 22,348.75.
US Bond Yield (Down)
The yield on 10-year Treasuries were down marginally at 4.03%, while 2-year Treasuries were down marginally at 3.53%.
Dollar Index (Flat)
The dollar index steadied around 97.35 against the other major currencies after sliding in the prior
session.
Asian currencies (Mixed)
Asian currencies were trading mixed against in the early trade today with Taiwan Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Philippines Peso were trading higher.
Crude (Gains)
Oil prices held steady in early trade on Tuesday after rising in the previous session, as market participants contemplated potential supply disruption from Russia after Ukrainian drone attacks on its refineries.
Gold (Up)
Gold held its gains after rising to a new record, while Silver prices also trading flat.
Fund Flow Action
The Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold equities worth Rs 1268 crore on September 15, while Domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought equities worth Rs 1933 crore on the same day.
