GIFT Nifty (Up)

Asian Equities (Up)
Asian stocks edged up after the S&P 500 index advanced for a sixth day on optimism that companies will be able to weather slowing economic growth and tariff-fueled disruptions.
US Equities (Gain)
Wall Street stocks advanced on Tuesday while crude and gold prices slid as investors juggled corporate earnings, signs of progress in U.S. President Donald Trump's tariff negotiations, and increased odds of a global recession.
All three major U.S. stock indexes were modestly higher, with the blue-chip Dow out front.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 300.03 points, or 0.75%, to 40,527.62, the S&P 500 rose 32.07 points, or 0.58%, to 5,560.82, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 95.19 points, or 0.55%, to 17,461.32.

Dollar Index (Flat)
The U.S. dollar was steady on Wednesday but poised for its weakest monthly performance since November 2022 as erratic U.S. trade policies under President Donald Trump left the greenback vulnerable while boosting the euro, yen and Swiss franc.
Asian currencies (Mixed)
Asian currencies were trading mostly higher in the early Wednesday trade, with gainers including the Malaysian Ringgit, Indonesian Rupiah, Philippines Peso, South Korean Won, while the Japanese Yen, Singapore Dollar, Thai Baht, and Taiwan Dollar were trading marginally lower.
Crude (Down)
Oil prices edged lower in early Asian trading on Wednesday as President Donald Trump's erratic tariff policies raised concerns about weakening global economic growth and fuel demand.
Gold (Down)
Gold was steady after dropping on Tuesday as President Donald Trump eased the impact of some auto tariffs and pointed to progress in trade negotiations with several countries.
