CDSL shares fall 5% after net profit drops 22%.

CDSL shares dropped 5 percent on Monday after the company's net profit dropped 22 percent for the March quarter.

Shares of Central Depository Services (India) Ltd declined 5.13 percent to an intraday low of Rs 1,260 per share on the NSE. Later, it pared some of the losses to trade at Rs 1,266.8 apiece, down 4.62 percent.

The company reported a 22.4 percent decline in the profit after tax to Rs 100.39 crore in the March quarter of the FY2025. The same was reported at Rs 129.4 crore in the year-ago period.

The revenue from operations was reported at 224.45 crore in the quarter under review on-year, down 6.7 percent from the previous quarter. The board of the company also announced a final dividend of Rs 12.50 per share for the shareholders.
