Bulk deals: Unifi Capital picks up 1.6 % stake in Marksans Pharma

Ganesh Infraworld
Starwings Realtors Private Limited bought 2.96 lakh shares (0.69 percent) at an average price of Rs 202.33 per share. Ganesh Infraworld Limited is engaged in infrastructure development and real estate projects. At close, the stock was trading around 3.39 percent higher.

UPL
Bofa Securities Europe SA purchased 5.54 lakh shares at an average price of Rs 538.24 per share. UPL Limited is a global agrochemicals and crop protection company. At close, UPL was trading in the green at Rs 727.80, around 0.78 percent higher. The stock has gained around 37 percent over the last one year.

Marksans Pharma
Unifi Capital Private Limited picked up 72.41 lakh shares (1.6 percent) at an average price of Rs 231.50 per share. Marksans Pharma Ltd is a pharmaceutical company involved in the manufacture and marketing of generic drugs. The stock closed around 0.86 percent lower at Rs 225.80 and has gained around 11 percent over the last one year.

At close, the Sensex was down 572.07 points or 0.70 percent at 80,891.02, and the Nifty was down 156.10 points or 0.63 percent at 24,680.90.
