The following bulk deals took place on both exchanges on July 9.
Akzo Nobel India
Eastspring Investments India Consumer Equity Open bought 2.5 lakh shares (0.56 percent) at Rs 3,651 apiece, while ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund bought 7 lakh shares (1.54 percent) at Rs 3,651 per share. The seller was Asian Paints which sold its entire stake of 20.11 lakh shares (4.42 percent) at Rs 3,651 each. According to a Reuters report, the stake sale comes after JSW Paints announced in June it would acquire Dutch paintmaker Akzo Nobel's, Indian arm for about $1.6 billion. The stock closed flat at Rs 60.64.
Crizac
Abakkus Asset Manager Private Limited bought 36.73 lakh shares (2.10 percent) at Rs 298.33 per share. The stock was listed on on July 9, 2025. The shares were listed at Rs 281.05 on the NSE at a nearly 15 percent premium.
Net Avenue Technologies
Inventus Capital Partners (Mauritius) sold 1.28 lakh shares (0.60 percent) at Rs 5.06 apiece.
Sammaan Capital
Smallcap World Fund Inc sold 80 lakh shares (0.96 percent) at Rs 122.55 per share. The same fund also sold 1.73 crore shares (2.09 percent) at Rs 122.56 per share. The stock closed 2.18 percent higher at Rs 128.81.
AKI India
Aegis Investment Fund sold 5.57 lakh shares (0.54 percent) at Rs 15 per share. The stock closed nearly 10 percent higher at Rs 14.69.
Clara Industries
Bridge India Fund bought 2.37 lakh shares (1.14 percent) at Rs 35.82 apiece. The stock closed nearly 4.29 percent higher at Rs 36.50.
