      Britannia Industries Ltd’s executive director and chief executive officer Rajneet Singh Kohli has resigned from his position on March 5, the company said in an exchange filing on March 6.

      Kohli has resigned to pursue an external opportunity, the top executive said in his resignation letter.

      The FMCG major’s stock was trading down 0.72 percent at Rs 4,688 on NSE at 02:28 pm on March 6.

      Kohli’s last working day at the company will be March 14, 2025, the company said in the filing.

      He was appointed as the CEO of the company on September 26, 2022.
