Veteran banker Mandar Donde, currently the Head of Asia-Pacific TMT (Technology, Media and Telecom) investment banking at BofA Securities will be appointed as the firm's new head of global corporate and investment banking in India and is expected to assume charge from April, multiple industry sources in the know told Moneycontrol.
Raj Balakrishnan , currently the co-head of India investment banking at BofA Securities will assume the role of Vice-Chairman, global corporate and investment banking, India, these sources added. They spoke on the condition of anonymity.
When contacted, a BofA Securities spokesperson declined to comment.
According to his Linkedin profile, Donde, an alumnus of the University of Bath and the University of Rochester-Simon Business School, has been with BofA Securities for over 24 years. He will relocate from Singapore to India as part of the top deck internal reshuffle.
Balakrishnan has been a co-head of investment banking for the last 12 years, and he too has spent more than 24 years at the firm. Debasish Purohit, the other co-head of investment banking, left BofA in November.
