10-year yield seen between 8.95-9.05% range: Mohan Shenoi

Ahead of WPI data release and weekly scheduled auction today, the range for the 10-year yield is seen between 8.95-9.05 percent, says Mohan Shenoi, Kotak Mahindra Bank.

Mohan Shenoi, Kotak Mahindra Bank said, "Announcement of OMO (open market operations) yesterday has soothed the nerves in the bond market. However, the choice of securities for OMO, which is predominantly short dated, has disappointed the market. Ahead of WPI data release and weekly scheduled auction today, the range for the 10-year yield is seen between 8.95-9.05 percent."
