Mark Mobius bets on India, says may see new highs in FY12

Indian market is succumbing to pressures by heavy profit booking, disappointing February IIP data and high crude price. However, Mark Mobius of Templeton Emerging Markets Group sees ray of hope in this market.

Indian market is succumbing to pressures of profit booking, disappointing February IIP data and high crude price. However, Mark Mobius of Templeton Emerging Markets Group sees ray of hope in this market.

In an interview to CNBC-TV18, Mobius said that Indian market is showing signs of investors returning to India once again. He is optimistic that India may see new highs by year-end. Mobius warns that lack of government action may pose a big risk to India.
