Asia trading mixed; Nikkei down, Hang Seng flat

At 7: 49 am (IST), Asian markets were trading mixed. Shanghai Composite was up 0.18%, Hang Seng was flat at 23,188.25 and Nikkei shed 1.34%.

At 7: 49 am (IST), Asian markets were trading mixed. China's Shanghai Composite was up 0.18% or 4.28 points at 2,422.81.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was flat at 23,188.25.

Japan's Nikkei shed 1.34% or 151.85 points at 11,205.22.

Singapore's Straits Times was flat at 3,261.99.

South Korea's Seoul Composite was up 0.42% or 8.05 points at 1,939.82.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted shut today.
