Asian markets trading higher; Hang Seng, Nikkei up

At 7: 49 am (IST), Asian markets were trading higher. China's Shanghai Composite added 0.28% or 8.01 points at 2,829.32. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.57% or 136.53 points at 24,262.14. Japan's Nikkei gained 0.64% or 67.78 points at 10,580.58. Singapore's Straits Times was up 0.21% or 6.97 points at 3,251.91.

At 7: 49 am (IST), Asian markets were trading higher. China's Shanghai Composite added 0.28% or 8.01 points at 2,829.32.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.57% or 136.53 points at 24,262.14.

Japan's Nikkei gained 0.64% or 67.78 points at 10,580.58.

Singapore's Straits Times was up 0.21% or 6.97 points at 3,251.91.

South Korea's Seoul Composite surged 0.35% or 7.31 points at 2,102.26.

Taiwan's Taiwan Weighted rose 0.59% or 52.73 points at 9,017.73.
