    Asian markets trading higher; Nikkei, Seoul Composite up

    At 7: 41 am (IST), Asian markets were trading higher. Hong Kong's Hang Seng rose 0.30% or 72.78 points at 23,981.74. Japan's Nikkei added 0.65% or 68.33 points at 10,611.85. Singapore's Straits Times was up 0.13% or 4.07 points at 3,215.19. South Korea's Seoul Composite gained 1.62% or 33.49 points at 2,105.52.

    Japan's Nikkei added 0.65% or 68.33 points at 10,611.85.

    Singapore's Straits Times was up 0.13% or 4.07 points at 3,215.19.

    South Korea's Seoul Composite gained 1.62% or 33.49 points at 2,105.52.

    China and Taiwan markets are shut today on account of Lunar New Year.
