Here are experts equity calls for the day on how the markets are expected to trade:

Parul Saini, RBS: The recent inflation data suggests a cautious near-term stance on the markets. With liquidity expected to get tighter on the margin through the end of the month, we would be tactically cautious on the financials too.

Markus Rosgen, Citigroup: The EM equity funds saw its first inflow after 6 consecutive weeks of outflows, albeit just USD 17 million. Also switch from emerging markets to developed markets eased further with global international funds taking in only USD 658 million last week.
