Veteran emerging-markets investor Mark Mobius will step back from his role in investment firm Mobius Capital Partners, according to the 87-year-old fund manager. Mobius co-founded Mobius Capital in 2018 following his departure from Franklin Templeton Investments.
On November 13, Mobius took to microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, to make the announcement, "It’s been an incredible journey at @MobiusCap, where I witnessed its growth and success".
Moving forward, Mobius will now focus on new projects in Dubai centered around entrepreneurship investments and consulting, he further announced on the microblogging site.

According to a statement from the trust, London-based Mobius Investment Trust will continue to be managed Mobius Capital Partners, which is led by Founding Partner Carlos Hardenberg.
The 87-year-old fund manager retired from Franklin Templeton Investments in 2018 after three decades at the firm. In March 2018, Mobius launched Mobius Capital Partners jointly with his former Templeton colleagues Carlos von Hardenberg and Greg Konieczny.
