Hindustan Unilever (HUL) has slashed prices across key consumer products including Dove shampoo, Horlicks, Kissan Jam and Lifebuoy soap, effective September 22.

According to a company advertisement published in newspapers, a 340 ml bottle of Dove shampoo will now cost Rs 435, down from Rs 490. A 200 gm jar of Horlicks has been reduced to Rs 110 from Rs 130, while 200 gm of Kissan Jam will retail for Rs 80, down from Rs 90.

The popular pack of four 75 gm Lifebuoy soaps will also see a price drop to Rs 60 from Rs 68. HUL said new stock with the revised maximum retail price (MRP) or increased grammage is in the process of reaching the market.
