HSBC Securities and Capital Markets has onboarded MUFG executive Aakash Swaroop as a Director in the former's India investment banking team, according to a LinkedIn update on June 13 by Swaroop.
Swaroop, an ISB alumnus, has more than two decades of advisory and investment banking experience as per his Linkedin profile. He had a 12 year stint at MUFG in the India and Singapore offices, where he focused on healthcare and consumer segments and also participated in leveraged finance and proprietary equity investments in mid to late stage digital firms.
Prior to MUFG, Swaroop had stints at ICICI Securities, EY, PwC and Deloitte.
In September, HSBC Securities elevated Nirvaer Sidhu and Ranvir Davda as co-heads of investment banking for India.
