Tata Communications reported 34.9 percent year-on-year (YoY) decline in its consolidated net profit at Rs 232 crore in the first quarter, compared with Rs 357 crore in the year-ago period.
The company's revenue from operations in the reporting period jumped 6.6 percent year-on-year to Rs 5,960 crore as against Rs 5,592 crore in the same period last year. EBITDA for the quarter remain unchanged at Rs 1,137 crore. EBITDA margin stood at 19.1% with an improvement of 30 bps. Data revenue growth at 9.4% YoY, came in at Rs 5,130 crore, driven by digital fabric.
