Auto component maker Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd today reported a nearly two-fold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 8.91 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company had posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 4.46 crore in the same period last fiscal, Sona Koyo Steering Systems Ltd said in a BSE filing.
Net sales during the quarter under review stood at Rs 389.25 crore as compared with Rs 351.58 crore in the same period last fiscal, up 10.71 percent.
Total expenses during the third quarter were at Rs 369.53 crore as against Rs 335.28 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of Sona Koyo Steering Systems ended the day at Rs 81.20 apiece, up 0.12 percent from the previous close on the BSE.
