Q4 Results 2025 Highlights: Axis Bank net profit dips to Rs 7,118 crore, beats estimate; Tech Mahindra net profit rises 77%

Along with the Q4 results, L&T Tech Services also announced a final dividend of Rs 38 per equity share for the financial year ended March 31, 2025. The record date is yet to be announced.

L&T Tech Services reported a net profit of Rs 311 crore for Q4 FY25. This marks a fall of nearly 9 percent from Rs 341 crore in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations meanwhile surged nearly 18% to Rs 2,982 crore.

India’s third largest private lender reported a net non-performing asset (NPA) margin of 0.33% in Q4 FY25, higher than the 0.31% net NPA margin reported in Q4 FY24. Gross NPA margin however improved to 1.28% during the reported quarter from 1.43% in the year-ago period.

Along with the Q4 results, Axis Bank also announced a dividend of Rs 1 per equity share.

Axis Bank reported a net profit of Rs 7,118 crore for the January-March quarter of FY25. This marks a marginal fall from the Rs 7,129.67 crore net profit reported in Q4 FY24. The net profit is higher than Moneycontrol's poll estimate of Rs 6,710 crore. The bank’s total income rose to Rs 38,022 crore.

Tech Mahindra has announced a final dividend of Rs 30 per equity share for the financial year 2025. This takes the total dividend paid during the financial year to Rs 45 per equity share. The final dividend will be paid before August 15.

Tech Mahindra reported a net profit of Rs 1,167 crore for the January-March quarter of FY25. This marks a rise of 76.5% from the Rs 661 crore net profit reported in Q4 FY24. Revenue from operations meanwhile increased 4 percent YoY to Rs 13,384 crore.

Cyient reported a net profit of Rs 170 crore in Q4 FY25, marking a fall of nearly 10% YoY. Revenue from operations meanwhile increased over 2.6% YoY to Rs 1,909 crore. Total expenses also rose to Rs 1,693.5 crore.

SBI Life's net premium income fell nearly 5% YoY to Rs 23,860 crore in Q4 FY25. The company’s net profit however rose marginally to Rs 813.51 crore. Solvency ratio decline QoQ from 2.04% in Q4 FY24 to 1.96% in Q4 FY25.

The shares of Adani Energy Solutions surged over 3% to trade at Rs 967.80 apiece. This comes after the company reported a net profit of Rs 647.15 crore in Q4 FY25, marking a rise of over 79% from the Rs 361.44 crore net profit reported in Q4 FY24.

Laurus Labs has announced a second interim dividend of Rs 0.80 per equity share for the financial year 2024-2025. The record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders set to receive the payment has been set on May 9. The dividend will be paid on or after May 20.

Laurus Labs reported a net profit of Rs 234 crore for Q4 FY25. This marks a whopping 209% rise from the Rs 76 crore net profit reported in the year-ago period. Revenue from operations meanwhile rose over 19% YoY to Rs 1,720 crore.

ACC said that it has achieved the highest ever sales volume in a quarter at 11.9 million tonnes, marking a growth of 14% YoY. “Higher volume along with improved operational parameters resulted in growth in all business parameters,” the Adani Group firm said.

Along with its Q4 results, ACC also announced that it board has recommended a dividend of Rs 7.5 per equity share. The record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders set to receive the payment has been set on June 13. The dividend will be paid to the eligible shareholders on or after July 1, only after receiving the necessary approvals.

ACC reported a net profit of Rs 751 crore for Q4 FY25, marking a fall of over 20% from the Rs 943 crore net profit reported in Q4 FY24. The company's revenue from operations meanwhile rose nearly 13% YoY to Rs 5,992 crore. Total expenses also increased to Rs 5,515 crore.

The shares of Elecon Engineering Company jumped over 5 percent to trade at Rs 554 apiece. This comes after the company reported a net profit of Rs 146.48 crore for Q4 FY25, marking a rise of over 41% from the Rs 103.65 crore net profit reported in the year-ago period. The company’s revenue from operations meanwhile rose to Rs 797.57 crore.

The shares of Kirloskar Pneumatic dropped over 4 percent to trade at Rs 1,225 apiece. This comes after the company reported a net profit of Rs 80.33 crore and revenue from operations of Rs 591.60 crore for Q4 FY25.

Nestle shares sharply recovered all losses to trade in the green with marginal gains at Rs 2,440 apiece. Notably, the shares of the FMCG company had dropped over 1 percent after releasing its results for the January-March quarter of FY25.

Nestle reported quarterly domestic sales at over Rs 5,235 crore for the first time ever. "Total sales and domestic sales for the quarter increased by 3.7% and 4.2%, respectively. Domestic sales growth was broad based," the company said.

Nestle in its exchange filing said, "Commodity prices continue to be firm for coffee. Cocoa prices have corrected but continue to be high. Prices continue to remain stable for edible oils. Milk prices have cyclically firmed up with the onset of summers."

The shares of Nestle India sharply dropped over 1 percent to trade in the red at Rs 2,408.60 after the FMCG major announced its results for the January-March quarter of FY25.

Nestle’s standalone net profit declined over 5% to Rs 885.4 crore. A Moneycontrol poll of 11 brokerages had estimated the FMCG major’s net profit to fall nearly six percent to Rs 870 crore.

The company also reported a 4% YoY rise in revenue from operations to Rs 5,503.88 crore. Moneycontrol's poll had estimated a 4.4 percent year-on-year rise in revenue at Rs 5,500 crore.

Nestle also announced a final dividend of Rs 10 per equity share for the financial year 2025. The record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders set to receive the dividend has been set on July 4. If approved, the dividend will be paid to the eligible shareholders on and from July 24.

Nestle's standalone net profit declined over 5% to Rs 885.4 crore in Q4 FY25. Revenue from operations meanwhile rose over 4% to Rs 5,503.88 crore. Earnings per share (EPS) declined to Rs 9.18.

The shares of FMCG major Hindustan Unilever dropped over 4 percent to trade at Rs 2,326.60 apiece. This comes after the company announced its results for the January-March quarter of FY25.

India’s third largest private lender Axis Bank is expected to post a muted performance for the January to March quarter (Q4FY25), owing to sluggish loan growth and subdued margins. According to Moneycontrol's poll, Axis Bank’s net interest income (NII) is expected to show a modest increase of 6.1 percent year-on-year, reaching Rs 13,894 crore in Q4FY25, up from Rs 13,089 crore in the same quarter last year. However, the bank’s profit-after-tax (PAT) is likely to drop by 6 percent year-on-year, falling to Rs 6,710 crore from Rs 7,130 crore.

HUL's home care segment saw revenue rise over 1.8 percent YoY to Rs 5,818 crore. Beauty and wellbeing segment meanwhile reported a revenue of Rs 3,113 crore. Personal care segment also saw a rise in revenue to Rs 2,124 crore. Foods segment however saw revenue fall slightly to Rs 3,896 crore.

Along with the Q4 results, the IT company also announced a final dividend of Rs 15 per equity share for the financial year which ended on March 31, 2025. The record date to determine the eligibility of the shareholders set to receive the payment will be announced later, as per an exchange filing. Notably, this brings the total dividend paid during the year to Rs 35. The company said that it was planned to acknowledge its 35th anniversary.

Persistent Systems reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 395.76 crore for the reported quarter. This marks a rise of nearly 25.5 percent from the Rs 315.32 crore net profit reported in Q4 FY24. The company's revenue from operations meanwhile surged over 25 percent year-on-year to Rs 3,242 crore in Q4 FY25.

The shares of Hindustan Unilever are trading in the green with marginal gains at Rs 2,428 crore. This comes after the company announced its results for the fourth quarter of the financial year 2025.

HUL has announced a final dividend of Rs 24 per equity share for the financial year 2025. The Company had earlier paid an interim dividend of Rs 19 per share and special dividend of Rs 10 per share on November 21, 2024.

FMCG major reported a standalone net profit of Rs 2,493 crore for Q4 FY25, marking a rise of over 3.6% YoY from Rs 2,406 crore net profit reported in Q4 FY24. Notably, this is higher than the Rs 2,470 crore net profit estimated by twelve brokerages polled by Moneycontrol.

Total income also rose to Rs 15,513 crore.
