Shree Cement Q3 net profit falls 72.5% to Rs 193 crore on weak demand
Shree Cement reported a slump third-quarter profit on January 30, hurt by weak prices and a slowdown in activity in a seasonally weak period.
The company’s consolidated net profit plunged 72.5% to Rs 193 crore in the quarter ended Dec. 31. Total revenue from operations dropped 12% to Rs 4,573 crore.
On January 30, Shree Cement's shares on BSE closed 1% higher at Rs 26,918 apiece.

BEL registers a growth of 47% in PAT during 3rd Quarter of FY 2024-25
Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a turnover of Rs 5,643.25 crore, registering a growth of 36.97% during 3rd quarter of FY25 over the turnover of Rs 4,120.10 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.
Profit after tax (PAT) during the reported quarter stood at Rs 1,316.06 crore, with a growth of 47.33% over Rs 893.30 crore recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Kalyan Jewellers net profit rises 21% to Rs 218 crore, revenue jumps 40%
Kalyan Jewellers on January 30 reported a net profit of Rs 218 crore in the December quarter of the current financial year. This marks an increase of 21 percent from the Rs 181 crore net profit reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.

Jindal Steel and Power Q3 profit slumps on weak demand
Indian steelmaker Jindal Steel and Power reported a drop third-quarter profit on Thursday, hurt by muted demand and weak steel prices.
The company reported consolidated net profit after tax of Rs 951 crore (nearly $110 million), down nearly 51% from a year ago.
Revenue from operations was largely flat at Rs 11,751 crore, while expenses rose 8% to Rs 10,577 crore.

Waaree Energies posts 296% jump in net profit at Rs 493 crore in Q3
Waaree Energies Ltd on January 30 reported a four-fold jump in net profit at Rs 492.7 crore in the quarter ended December 31 of the current financial year, compared to Rs 124.5 crore in the same period of the previous financial year, the company said in an exchange filing.
The company’s net profit stood at Rs 361.6 crore in the September quarter, the filing showed.
The firm’s revenue jumped over 116 percent to Rs 3,457.28 crore in the reported quarter over Rs 1,596.183 crore in the year-ago period. The revenue was at Rs 3,574.377 crore in the September quarter, the company filing said.
The stock of the company closed 0.91 percent higher at Rs 2,227.65 on NSE on January 30.
