ITC Q1 Results LIVE: FMCG major to amalgamate two subsidiaries
ITC announced that its board has approved the amalgamation scheme of its two wholly owned subsidiaries- Sresta Natural Bioproducts and Wimco Limited. "The aforesaid Scheme of Amalgamation, which is subject to necessary approvals, will take effect from 13th June, 2025 and 1st April, 2025 for amalgamation of SNBPL and Wimco, respectively," it said.
SNBPL is primarily engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of organic packaged food products (staples, spices, processed foods etc.) under the brand name '24 Mantra Organic'. Wimco presently does not have any major operations. It was earlier engaged in the engineering business of fabricating / assembling tube-filling & cartoning machines and providing allied services. Wimco owns about 1 acre of land in Ambernath, Maharashtra, which is contiguous to the 17 acre land parcel owned by ITC.

ITC Q1 Results LIVE: Cigarettes may report stable volumes, profit growth likely flat
Diversified FMCG-to-cigarettes conglomerate ITC is likely to report the highest revenue among all its listed peers. According to a Moneycontrol poll of eight brokerages, ITC is likely to report revenue of Rs 17,718 crore, rising 4.2 percent year-on-year compared to Rs 17,000 crore in the April to June quarter of FY25.
Net profit is likely to come in at Rs 5,000 crore in Q1FY26 as against Rs 4,921 crore in the year-ago period, a growth of one percent.
Earnings estimates of analysts polled by Moneycontrol are in a narrow range, so any positive or negative surprises may elicit a sharp reaction in the stock. The most optimistic estimate sees ITC’s net profit growing 4.8 percent year-on-year, while the most negative projection sees a fall of 1.6 percent in net profit for the quarter.
