HDFC Securities records 18% YoY growth in FY25 profit

Stockbroker HDFC Securities, the subsidiary of HDFC Bank, said its profit after tax in the financial year ended March 2025 grew by 18 percent to Rs 1,125 crore compared to previous year.

The net revenue - total income less finance costs - stood at Rs 2,479 crore for the financial year 2024-25, growing 20 percent over the previous year, said the company.

Further, the company has achieved a total income of Rs 3,265 crore during the year gone by, registering a 23 percent increase compared to Rs 2,661 crore in the previous financial year.

The average margin trading funding (MTF) portfolio increased significantly by 50 percent year-on-year to Rs 8,343 crore, while equity trade volumes grew by 24 percent YoY to Rs 8 lakh crore during the year, HDFC Securities said.
