Adani Power Q1 loss may halve, generation likely to fall 10-15%

Adani Power's first quarter consolidated loss may get narrowed to Rs 205 crore from Rs 417 crore in year-ago period, according to average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.

    Adani Power's first quarter consolidated loss may get narrowed to Rs 205 crore from Rs 417 crore in year-ago period, according to average of estimates of analysts polled by CNBC-TV18.

    Revenue is seen falling 6.6 percent to Rs 5,523 crore from Rs 5,914 crore YoY.

    Operating profit may jump 12 percent to Rs 1,781 crore and margin may expand 530 basis points to 32.3 percent on yearly basis.

    Analysts expect-10-15 percent decline in generation-Lower generation at Tiroda (due to water shortage) and Mundra (plant maintenance issues and boiler accident)-EBITDA to increase as lower fuel and operation & maintenance costs will offset the decline in revenues
