NTPC: Detailed Q4 numbers to be released today
India's largest power producer NTPC is going to declare detailed numbers for the fourth quarter as well as FY11 today. Fourth quarter provisional profit after tax reported by the company was Rs 2505.4 crore.

Look for clarity on Q4 PATTariffs were grossed up at a corporate tax rate as against MAT in the quarter ended March 2011. Change in tax treatment positively impacted numbers by close to Rs 500 crore. Full clarity will emerge today once detailed numbers are out. We will also need to look out for other adjustments like prior period items.Operational details (provisional numbers) Net revenues increased 17% in fourth quarter on year-on-year basis. Number of units sold was down by 1.5% in January-March quarter.Overall plant availability continued to remain high at over 90%. PLF
