KRChoksey has come with its quarterly earning estimates on media & Entertainment sector for March 2012. Slowdown in advertising spend will hit revenue for major media companies. Increase in subscriber base and higher circulation revenue will compensate to some extent to lower earnings.

Digitization would be the next trigger for the sector. We believe DTH industry will show robust growth in terms of subscriber addition resulting higher subscription revenue for broadcasting companies as well.
