Cyient Ltd announced on September 16 that its subsidiary, Cyient Semiconductors Ltd., has formed a strategic partnership with U.S.-based Anora, LLC. The goal of this collaboration is to deliver complete, end-to-end semiconductor product development solutions. The two companies will combine their expertise to cover the full semiconductor lifecycle, including architecture, design, silicon bring-up, qualification, and testing. As part of the partnership, they plan to set up a semiconductor validation and production testing facility in Bengaluru, according to Cyient’s filing with the stock exchange.

The Bengaluru site will feature clean room infrastructure and be fully equipped for scaling silicon products into high-volume manufacturing. The facility will house equipment such as probers, engineering and production handlers, and several automated test platforms. It will complement Anora’s existing test facility in Texas, as noted in the filing.

The filing further stated that by merging cutting-edge infrastructure with deep technical know-how, Cyient Semiconductors and Anora aim to provide customers with a streamlined path—from silicon validation to full-scale production—all in a single location.

On September 16, Cyient Ltd shares on NSE closed 4.7% higher at Rs 1,280 apiece.

"This partnership is about creating a complete solution for the semiconductor industry," said Hari Chandran, the co-founder and co-chief executive officer of Anora. "By integrating Cyient's design and silicon capabilities with our strengths in post-silicon validation and test, we can empower customers to move faster, reduce risk, and achieve production readiness with confidence."

Suman Narayan, CEO, Cyient Semiconductors, said, “Semiconductor companies are looking for fewer hand-offs and more integrated partners. Our collaboration with Anora addresses exactly that need, offering customers a one-stop hub from concept to final silicon. By investing in world-class validation and test infrastructure in Bangalore, we are positioning India as a critical player in the global semiconductor ecosystem while supporting the vision of the India Semiconductor Mission.”
