The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) today allowed Price-Waterhouse to re-examine witnesses involved in the Satyam scandal and thier statements, giving a green signal to its appeal against the SEBI order.

The Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) today allowed Price-Waterhouse's appeal and has set aside SEBI order that gave limited access to Price-Waterhouse for witness cross-examination.

SAT directed SEBI to allow the firm to cross-examine certain witnesses based on whose account SEBI had issued show cause notice to Price-Waterhouse, an arm of global professional services firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers, in Satyam Computer
