    2G scam: CBI issues fresh summons to Ruias, Khaitans

    The CBI has issued fresh summons to the Ruias and Khaitans in the Loop-Essar controversy in the 2G scam.

    The CBI has issued fresh summons to the Ruias and Khaitans in the Loop-Essar controversy in the 2G scam.

    The 2G trial court had directed the CBI to reissue the summons and make an attempt to serve them thrice before pasting them at their premises.

    The court had found that before taking coercive steps it was important to give the accused another opportunity to accept the summons.

    While Essar Teleholdings has denied having received any summons.
