Dr Reddy's Laboratories today announced that it has launched Montelukast sodium tablets and Montelukast sodium chewable tablets in US market on Monday.
"We have Montelukast sodium tablets and Montelukast sodium chewable tablets, bioequivalent generic versions of Singulair tablets and chewable tablets, in the US market on Monday, following the approval by the United States Food & Drug Administration (USFDA) of Dr Reddy's ANDA," a company statement said here.
The Singular tablets and chewable tablets brand had US sales of approximately USD3.6 billion and USD1.14 billion respectively for the most recent twelve months ending March 2012, according to IMS Health.
Dr Reddy's Montelukast sodium tablets in 10 mg and Montelukast sodium chewable tablets in 4 mg and 5 mg are available in bottle counts of 30 and 90.
