Budget 2012: Here's the wish-list from media & entertainment sector

Expect encouragement to media and entertainment industry for digitizing their content. Budgeting for internet connectivity would make IT, entertainment and education sector reach out to everybody.

Expectations from Budget 2012-2013:

A)    GST implementation plan on urgent basis,

B)    Budgeting for internet connectivity backbone for the country with timelines definition for Metros, B class towns, villages etc, it would make IT , Entertainment Industry, education reach out to everybody, and work as backbone for lots of industries growth in newer areas.

C)    Encouragement to media and entertainment industry for digitizing their content such that masses could have it when they want, this would also bring down craze for sensationalizing  of news / trends / entertainment.
