Apple set to roll out iOS 18.3 soon with these new features

Apple will soon release iOS 18.3 and looks like a lot of interesting updates are in store for the users. The iOS 18.3 beta version has been made available today for the developers and the beta testers. Although not all features will be made available for the regular users, we now have a fair idea about what to expect from the iOS 18.3 update.

So the first thing that appeared on the release note shared by Apple was the visual intelligence feature. This will be exclusive to iPhone 16 models. It will allow users to perform actions like adding events to their Calendar straight from posters or flyers and identifying plants and animals using the camera.

Then there is also an update to the Notification Summaries for the iPhone 16, iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max users. You can now tweak notification settings directly from the Lock Screen, and summaries have a fresh new look featuring italicized text and glyphs.However, summaries for News and Entertainment apps are temporarily unavailable but will return soon.

The Calculator app is also getting a revamp. Small changes like tapping the equals sign will repeat the last calculation. Apple also resolved some silly issues like the keyboard disappearing when typing Siri commands and songs continuing to play in Apple Music even after closing the app.

While not all features will be available worldwide or on all devices, this update promises to improve the overall user experience. iOS 18.3 is expected to roll out next week alongside updates for iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS.
