The Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta has directed that a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of JK Sugar be held on January 09, 2013, for the purpose of considering and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification(s), the arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation amongst JK Sugar Limited and Dhampur Sugar Mills.

    JK Sugar Ltd has informed BSE that by an Order made on November 29, 2012, the Hon’ble High Court at Calcutta has directed that a meeting of the Equity Shareholders of JK Sugar Limited be held at Shripati Singhania Hall, Rotary Sadan, 94/2, Jawaharlal Nehru Road (Chowringee Road), Kolkata - 700020 on January 09, 2013 at 10.30 a.m., for the purpose of considering and if thought fit, approving, with or without modification(s), the arrangement embodied in the Scheme of Amalgamation amongst JK Sugar Limited and Dhampur Sugar Mills Limited (the Scheme).Source : BSE
