Supratik Bhattacharyya, formerly the Chief Talent Officer at RPG Group, has been appointed Group Chief Human Resources Officer at the Kolkata-based Adventz Group, a $4-billion conglomerate with interests across engineering, infrastructure, agriculture, lifestyle, real estate, and services.

Adventz counts Zuari Industries, Texmaco Rail & Engineering, Paradeep Phosphates, Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilisers, Zuari Infraworld, and Hettich India among its flagship companies.

Bhattacharyya, an MBA from Maastricht School of Management, Netherlands, is one of the few prominent HR leaders in India who transitioned to people management from a P&L and business management background, having worked earlier in ExxonMobil, JK Paper and Larsen & Toubro.
