Ahmedabad’s Udgam Consultancy first to launch Canada’s OSSD Global High School Programme in India

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) [India], July 18: In a first for India, Ahmedabad-based Udgam Consultancy has partnered with Canada-based Rosedale International Education to introduce the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) programme, opening international academic pathways to students from the country.

The OSSD is the official high school credential issued by the Ontario Ministry of Education and is recognised by leading universities in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Singapore and other global education destinations. Through this partnership, students in Gujarat can now access Canadian curriculum without relocating abroad.

The programme will be delivered via Rosedale Global High School, a digital institution accredited by the Ontario government, which currently works with more than 100 partner schools across 17 countries. Udgam is the first Indian partner to join this elite network.

Unlike conventional Indian school boards that rely on annual examinations, OSSD offers a continuous, skill-based assessment system. It incorporates project-based learning and a focus on critical thinking, digital literacy, collaboration, and real-world problem solving. The curriculum offers flexible course selections in areas such as business, computer science, data analytics, media, health sciences, and psychology.
