The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB) has announced the WBP SI Prelims Result 2025 for the post of Sub-Inspector (Unarmed and Armed Branch). The result has been released on the official websites https://prb.wb.gov.in and www.wbpolice.gov.in.

This recruitment is being conducted for 464 vacancies of Sub-Inspectors in the West Bengal Police. Candidates who appeared in the preliminary examination can now check their results online.

Candidates can check their result by following these simple steps:

1. Visit the official website of WBPRB at https://prb.wb.gov.inor www.wbpolice.gov.in.
2. Go to the ‘Recruitment’ section on the homepage.
3. Click on ‘View Details’ against “Recruitment to the post of Sub-Inspector (Unarmed & Armed Branch) in West Bengal Police - 2024”.
4. Select ‘Result of Preliminary Examination’.
5. A login page will open. Enter your Application Serial Number, Date of Birth, and District/State.
6. Download the result PDF and check your marks and qualifying status.

What Happens Next

Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary examination will now proceed to the next stage, the Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). These tests are scheduled to begin from 17 November 2025 onwards.

After the physical tests, shortlisted candidates will appear for the Final Combined Competitive Examination (Mains Exam). Those who qualify in the mains will then face the Personality Test, which evaluates the candidate’s overall suitability for the role.

Finally, after document verification, a merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the mains exam and the personality test.
